Martha Wise and 2nd husband whose name was recorded as Alexander Newman on census records, but who was identified as J. H. Newman on the back of the photograph.

The two youngest children are apparently his from a previous marriage and the two daughters are Martha's.

Location is Bucklin in Linn County Missouri
